I've been a raver for a decade, and I'm still a fucking Kandi-Kid!!!
If you want to get to know me, message my MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/shadow_yang
My first rave was "Bliss" on June 15th, 2000 at the Austin Music Hall.
Since that night, I knew this was my life. I was a regular at Pulse, only missing one rave in a year and a half. I watched Pulse change hands three times until its demise in 2001. I was sad. I moved. I lived a few other lives. But I always missed this one.
Then, Asylum reopened. Having known the owners from when they owned Pulse, I went back.
Not long after that, the Treehouse Tribe threw "Ninjas vs Pirates."
I knew I was home once again.
I've missed all of you Plur-babies and I have so much to make up for!
I am a straight-edge, but I love nothing more than bringing extra pleasure to those of you who aren't.
I will even stop dancing to bestow my decade-long collection of roll-tricks I've picked up along the way.
You can't say you feel the music if both your feet are still on the ground. Old skool stomp will resurrect!!!

DJ
John Clark also known as OneLove has had an intense passion for music his entire life. During his early childhood he grew up listening to a variety of music including Kiss, Kool and the Gang, The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Duran Duran, Stacey Q and Olivia Newton John. In his teenage years The Cure, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Information Society, Nitzer Ebb, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and Lords of Acid could be heard pumping through his stereo. OneLove had an appreciation for anything with synthesizers and drum machines. In 1991 he discovered what the industry had labeled as Techno and House Music. He discovered the Speed Limit 140 BPM series, which unknown to him at the time was the first stages of Jungle and/or Drum N Bass.
After moving to Austin in 1994, and experiencing a taste of its nightlife, DJ Flippy had given OneLove the opportunity to learn his first lessons in DJing on his Denon CDJ 200's. Most of this practice happened at afterpartys and soon after he had learned the basics he was given the chance to guest spot with DJ Flippy in the basement of Club 404.
In 1997 OneLove began his DJing career in the Austin local rave scene. Since then he has been booked for many local events as well as many out of state bookings. He has also had residencies at local Austin clubs including Caucus Club, Karma Lounge, and Club CP.
OneLove is what many may call a trendsetter, discovering the latest styles of the Europe and spreading the sound in the US before it reaches the awareness of western musical consciousness. He has worked DJing, promoting and as graphic designer for several production companies including Area 512 Entertainment, TreeHouseTribe,Funky Fresh Entertainment, Shakti Shiva, Davinci Unlimited, West World, Bucklup Entertainment, Just Don’t Stop Sound System, and Everyday Junglist. OneLove is also a proud member of Manifest, a production company which focuses on throwing outdoor camping festivals 3 to 5 times a year, usually coinciding with the seasons.
Presently, along with partners Brian Homer and James Joyner, OneLove has started an Audio/Visual/Design company. . For more info on BFlyMedia please visit www.b-flymedia.com

Electro House | House | Breaks
I've been involved in the Austin scene since April of 2000. Although I took a break because I didn't know where to go for a while, I got heavy into it in October of 2000. I've partied at Pulse, Austin City Music Hall, Asylum (When it first opened), an abandoned Wal Mart, and many other places! I got into DJing when I saw Ron-E perform for the first time. He is definitely one of my biggest influences, although I love to play electro house, house, and breaks, and Ron played trance and UK hard house. :)
I met Nate outside of Karma one night, and found out he was enrolled in one of the courses I was getting ready to take at ACC. I got to talking to him more, and found out about Treehouse Tribe. What a great group of people. :) Hope to meet all of yall someday!
Much love and respect!
Peace,
