Im KAOS, more commonly known as [DJ] Shadow. I am a stringer and DJ in the making, I enjoy all aspects of the EDM community but my favorite is by far DUBSTEP, it is always great to get down to. Kara Jean is a breakbeat DJ who's affiliated with Close Encounters Entertainment and Broke Nasty out of Austin, Texas. From the first time KJ heard the sounds of breaks, she embraced them in a heart beat, became instantly hooked, and the obsession never subsided. Just within the few years that she has been spinning, she has held a residency at The Sugar Shack in Lubbock Texas, has been booked at various venues in Austin and San Antonio and has recently played for the Bring on the Beats WMC tour in Austin and Dallas along-side DJ Deekline (UK), Scratch- D, and Brazen (Miami). With her vast knowledge of breaks and collection of vinyl, this breakbeat fanatic is notorious for laying down the booty bouncin bass that gets the crowd hoppin with her love for Florida and Party Breaks. With her percussion background and love for broken beats, Kara Jean has proven to be truly skilled at mixing. One of the main differences that sets her apart from most DJs is her "digging" skills, searching for rare music and obtaining absolutely the best breaks from the decades. Kara Jean is a drummer and a turntable enthusiast who stays true to her vinyl. She is very passionate about her music and is proud to represent breaks in Texas with Austin's only breakbeat crew, Broke Nasty. Keep an eye out for DJ Kara Jean in 2010!
